Multi Trader (Carpenter/Plumber Bias)London - Covering BR, CR and SW postcodesUp to £38,000Would you like to join Hyde as a multitrader?Hyde is looking for an experienced Multi Trader to join our busy maintenance team. If you're a hands-on tradesperson who can turn their hand to a range of jobs and takes pride in doing things properly, we'd like to hear from you. As a Multi Trader at Hyde, you'll be working in our homes carrying out day-to-day repairs and maintenance. You'll be trusted to get jobs done right first time and to treat our customers with respect in their homes.What you'll be doingCarrying out multi-trade repairs including carpentry, plumbing, plastering and general maintenanceFixing day-to-day issues such as doors, kitchens, bathrooms, leaks, walls and flooringCompleting patch plastering, minor tiling, painting and similar finishing worksWorking on your own jobs but also alongside other trades when neededFollowing work orders and reporting back on progress and materials usedWorking safely at all times and following Hyde's health and safety proceduresProviding a professional, friendly service to customers in their homesWhat we're looking forSolid experience across multiple trades, especially carpentry, plumbing and plasteringConfident using hand and power toolsAble to work independently and manage your own workloadA practical problem-solver who can spot issues and fix them properlyGood communication skills and a customer-friendly attitudePhysically fit and happy with hands-on workExperience working in social housing is a bonusSkills and experienceProven experience in multiple trades, including carpentry, plumbing, plastering, and general maintenance.Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools.Knowledge of trade-specific techniques, materials, and safety protocols.Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour.Experience working in social housing is desirableValid Full UK Driver's Licence.BenefitsA fantastic pensionLife assuranceGreat holidaysVanUniformFuel CardWhy join Hyde?You'll be working for an organisation that values skilled trades and the role they play in keeping homes safe, comfortable and well maintained.
