Job Summary and QualificationsThe Progressive Care Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Collaborating with medical professionals, the RN provides both pre-operative and post-operative nursing care, acting as an advocate for patients to ensure an exceptional experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patient conditions upon admission and throughout each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in status.
- Carry out procedures or tasks as directed by medical providers.
- Accurately document care provided in the patient’s medical record in a timely manner.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
- Stay informed about medications, procedures, and equipment relevant to the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 60 days of starting employment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Bachelor's Degree, Associate Degree, or a diploma in nursing.
