Hiring a Fiber Splicing & ISP Lead to support one of our leading telecommunications clients as they continue expanding their fiber network infrastructure across Ohio.


This role is ideal for someone with experience in fiber splicing, telecom construction, or ISP network deployments who enjoys splitting their time between the field and project coordination. You'll play a critical role in validating fiber construction activities, maintaining accurate network records, and ensuring projects are completed according to plan.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct field visits to verify fiber construction and splicing activities
  • Confirm conduit connections, fiber placement, and splice completion
  • Perform quality assurance inspections throughout active project sites
  • Upload and maintain accurate network documentation within GIS platforms (IQGeo preferred)
  • Validate that field conditions match engineering and construction records
  • Partner with engineering, construction, and field operations teams to support project delivery
  • Track project progress and identify potential issues before they impact timelines
  • Ensure network records remain accurate throughout all phases of construction
  • Support ongoing fiber network expansion and infrastructure deployment initiatives


Required Qualifications

  • Experience with fiber splicing and fiber network deployments
  • Background supporting ISP construction, telecommunications infrastructure, or fiber network projects
  • Experience working with GIS platforms, including IQGeo, ArcGIS, or similar systems
  • Ability to read and interpret telecom network documentation, network layouts, and construction drawings
  • Comfortable spending significant time in the field performing site validations and inspections
  • Valid driver's license


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Fiber Technician, Fiber Splicer, or Fiber Construction Technician
  • Experience supporting ISP networks and network buildouts
  • Construction coordination or project support experience
  • Knowledge of fiber placement, conduit installation, and network handoff processes
  • Experience supporting large-scale fiber deployments, FTTH, or broadband infrastructure projects
