Baptist Health of Arkansas, in conjunction with Arkansas Health Group (AHG), is seeking Gastroenterologists to join an existing team of four physicians. This is a busy group and the recruitment need is growth related.

\n

Currently four physicians practice as GI hospitalists at Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock (BHMC-LR-850 beds) with potential additional coverage at Baptist Health Medical Center in Conway (BHMC-C-120 beds). They also perform outpatient procedures but do not see patients in an outpatient clinic. The current model is each physician rotates through a week of being the primary hospitalist, a week as a secondary hospitalist, and a week off. The patient volume for both hospitalists is 40-60 patients per day. During the week that they are not in the hospitalist rotation, they perform outpatient procedures in the BHMC-LR GI lab. The recruitment need is for a GI physician to practice in the outpatient clinic.

*100% outpatient practice with no ER call or hospital call requirements.
\n * Open access ambulatory surgery clinic located in the same building.
\n * All procedures staffed by anesthesiologists or CRNA's.
\n * Tremendous number of referrals come in daily.

\n

The outpatient clinic is located in the medical tower adjacent to BHMC-LR. BHMC-LR is the 827-bed flagship hospital of the nine hospital Baptist Health System.
