Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) will employ the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to deliver personalized nursing care to patients. Responsibilities include coordinating care, conducting patient assessments, providing education, triaging, and performing various nursing interventions. The RN will work collaboratively with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and assess care. This role requires demonstrating competency and practicing within the full scope of nursing knowledge, adhering to age and population-specific standards as defined in the assigned clinical environment. The RN will operate within the guidelines of the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules relevant to their state of practice and licensure. Our professional nursing practice acknowledges the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements as established by the American Nurses Association, serving as the foundation for nursing care delivery and professional behavior.

Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program is preferred, including institutions recognized by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and the National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). A Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is preferred.
  • Must possess an unencumbered RN license from the State Board of Nursing in the state where nursing practice occurs, or hold multistate licensure if practicing in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. It is essential to obtain and maintain any required department-specific licenses, competencies, and certifications.
