Key Responsibilities

As a member of the Hoffman Heart and Vascular Institute, your duties will include:

  • Conducting consultations and tests, providing care in both outpatient and hospital environments.
  • Collaborating with cardiac care teams, particularly with the electrophysiology team.
  • Possibility of holding an academic position at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University, if desired.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have an interest in cardiac rehabilitation, non-invasive cardiac testing, and teaching fellows in both non-invasive and invasive cardiology, with academic ties to UCONN and/or Quinnipiac.
  • Be skilled in TEE, Stress Testing, Cardioversion, Holter Monitoring, and other relevant procedures.
  • Be Board Eligible/Certified in Cardiology.
  • Hold a valid medical license in Connecticut.
  • Have completed a residency accredited by the US ACGME.
