Registered Nurse - PreOp/PACU

Job Description The Opportunity: Saint Luke's South in Overland Park, KS is seeking a PRN Pre-OP/PACU RN to join their Perianesthesia team. In this position, you will provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients undergoing procedures within the Main OR and hospital-based GI suites. Shift Details: FT Day Position 8 am until 6:30 pm Monday - Friday. This position takes call. This is a tight knit collaborative team that supports each other and are willing to go above and beyond for their peers, our patients and their families. • Provides pre-operative and post-operative care for inpatient and outpatient procedures.

• Utilizesthe nursing process
\n

• Performspatient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff
\n
• Coordinatesthe plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes
\n
• Demonstratesproficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures
\n
