Job Description Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City is currently seeking a highly motivated registered nurse to join our team at Saint Luke's Hospital Liver Biliary & Pancreatic Center. This clinic supports Hepatology, HPB surgery and GI specialties . As an RN on this team, you will be responsible for working to provide professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices The Shift: This is a Monday through Friday 8 hour day shift position. • Collects information from patient callers to assess their condition
\n
• Schedules emergent need patient appointments
\n
• Identifies learning needs for patients and families, provide advice and recommendations over the phone
\n
• Consults physicians about patient care needs
\n
• Delegates tasks to clinical staff in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration to Scope of Practice
\n
• Subject matter expert for patient education, assessment, interpretation, and documentation of patient care and testing
\n
• Enters admission orders as directed by provider
\n
