Entry Level Maintenance Assistant

\n Premier metal fabrication company in Tacoma is seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance/Welder Helper to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience assisting with equipment repairs, metal cart repairs, and basic welding. \n Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM\n

\n Pay: $20.50 per hour\n

\n Maintenance/Welder Helper Job Duties:\n

\n · Assist with metal cart repairs and general facility maintenance\n

\n · Support machine repairs and preventative maintenance projects\n

\n · Perform basic tack welding to assist with repair work\n

\n · Use hand tools, power tools, grinders, and other shop equipment\n

\n · Move materials and equipment as needed\n

\n · Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment\n

\n · Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards\n

\n Maintenance/Welder Helper Requirements:\n

\n · Previous experience with basic welding, including tack welding\n

\n · Experience with mechanical repairs, maintenance, or metal fabrication preferred\n

\n · Comfortable using hand and power tools\n

\n · Ability to read and follow work instructions\n

\n · Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift\n

\n · Reliable attendance and stable work history\n

\n · Steel-toe boots required\n
