Why You Will Enjoy Being Part of Our Team

Established several generations ago, our practice has been under the leadership of Dr. Igor Kaplansky for the past 24 years. Dr. Kaplansky is a well-respected figure in the fields of implant and comprehensive dentistry. Our practice remains a locally owned entity, free from external investors and corporate influences, allowing us to prioritize quality care over meeting quotas. This creates a stable environment where associates can cultivate a long-term career in a practice that is genuinely trusted by the community.

The new associate will become part of a collaborative and skilled team of around 30 professionals, which includes seven full-time dental assistants, three in-house lab technicians, and a dedicated administrative team led by an experienced office manager. Our practice is highly efficient, serving 8,000 active patients and welcoming about 100 new patients each month across 12 state-of-the-art operatories. Our established systems facilitate a smooth transition for new providers, allowing you to concentrate on delivering outstanding clinical care from day one.

Mentorship and Professional Development

Our mentorship program is both structured and accessible. Dr. Kaplansky holds monthly case review meetings where associates can present their cases for open discussion. Additionally, he is available daily to provide guidance and answer questions as they arise. A significant advantage of our practice is our advanced in-house laboratory, staffed by three dedicated technicians and equipped with two five-axis CAD/CAM mills and two 3D printers. This setup allows for real-time collaboration and immediate feedback on your work, enhancing your clinical development in ways that standard commercial labs cannot match.

We value professional stability, as evidenced by our current associate who has been with us for six years. This consistency enables us to provide reliable, long-term care that our patients expect while fostering an environment where providers can truly grow their careers. For candidates who demonstrate a strong long-term fit, we offer a transparent pathway to ownership, with partnership discussions welcomed after three years of successful collaboration.

Location and Community

Gasport is situated in rural Western New York, about an hour from downtown Buffalo and 90 minutes from Toronto. The area enjoys a lower dentist-to-patient ratio compared to urban markets, resulting in less competition and a patient base that highly values your care. This environment also enhances earning potential for productive providers. Associates have the option to live in Buffalo and commute or settle locally to become part of the community. This location is particularly advantageous for Canadian-trained dentists wishing to remain close to Toronto, as we are experienced in navigating the legal requirements for international providers and have successfully sponsored visas in the past.
