Employment Type: Travel

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Compensation: $1795 - $2163 | Shift: 5x8 Evenings

This position is crucial for supporting daily nursing operations and ensuring residents receive the highest standard of care.

As a Registered Nurse in this long-term care facility, your role will be instrumental in promoting the health and well-being of residents. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Communicating promptly with physicians, families, and other stakeholders regarding significant changes in residents' conditions
  • Conducting all necessary resident assessments
  • Administering medications while adhering to the 5 Rights
  • Performing wound care and assessments as required
  • Assisting Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) with responding to call lights
  • Monitoring residents for any changes in their condition
  • Taking on a leadership role on the floor by evaluating and directing situations as necessary
  • Reporting any suspected abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the Director of Nursing and Administrator
  • Maintaining precise resident records with thorough and accurate documentation
  • Carrying out additional duties as assigned

To thrive in this position, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • A two-year nursing degree (a four-year degree is preferred)
  • A valid Registered Nursing license in Wisconsin
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar setting
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
