Hugh Chatham Health is seeking an experienced Nocturnist Physician to join our growing Hospital Medicine team in beautiful Elkin, North Carolina. • Provide comprehensive inpatient care during overnight shifts
\n
• Admit and manage hospitalized adult patients
\n
• Respond to acute patient care needs, rapid responses, and medical emergencies
\n
• Collaborate closely with nursing staff, specialists, and day-shift providers
\n
• Coordinate transfers when higher levels of care are required
\n
• Ensure thorough and effective handoff communication to the daytime team
\n

\n
• MD or DO degree
\n
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
\n
• Eligible for medical licensure in North Carolina
\n
• ACLS certification required
\n
• Prior Hospital Medicine experience preferred
\n
• New graduates are not being considered for this opportunity
