Job Summary and Responsibilities
As ourOrthopedic - Trauma/Surgical NP/PA, you will helporthopedic patientsreceive comprehensive, expert care from admission through recoveryso they canachieve optimal surgical outcomes and improved quality of life.
\n\nIn this pivotal role, you willdrive orthopedic patient management and surgical support.You will be expected toperform first assistance in complex orthopedic surgeries, conduct inpatient rounds, coordinate interdisciplinary care with medical and trauma teams, and provide timely consultations for ER patients, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans. Additionally, you'll manage diagnostic testing, medication administration, and actively contribute to quality assurance initiatives within our dynamic multidisciplinary environment.
\n\nTo be successful in this role, you mustpossess proven experience in orthopedic patient management, surgical first assist capabilities, and a strong collaborative spirit to excel within a fast-paced trauma setting. Your expertise in diagnosing, treating, and coordinating comprehensive orthopedic care will be crucial for delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

- Degree as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) \n
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program \n
- Must hold and maintain: a.) AZ Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants License, b.) NCCPA - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant. \n
- Valid DEA registration. \n
- Must meet credentialing criteria for medical staff \n
NP Requirements:

- Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) \n
- Graduate of accredited program for Nurse Practitioners \n
- Compact state or Arizona RN license \n
- Arizona Advanced Practice Nurse license \n
- Must hold and maintain National Certificate as a nurse practitioner in area of specialty under AZ regulations: a.) NP-AACN, b.) NP-AANP, c.) NP-ANCC \n
- Valid DEA registration \n
- RNFA \n
- Must meet credentialing criteria for medical staff \n
