The facility operates with established protocols suited to corrections-based healthcare delivery and is supported by registered nurses and licensed practical nurses. Credentialing for this position is estimated at two weeks.

The expected caseload is 18-20 patients per day, with clinical responsibilities encompassing patient evaluations, chronic disease management, and acute illness treatment. No call coverage is required for this position. Required credentials include a Virginia nursing license, DEA registration, board certification, and prescriptive authority.
