Program Director Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of our educational curriculum.
  • Act as a mentor and role model for OB/GYN residents.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as resident recruitment and participation in clinical competency and program evaluation committees.
  • Lead initiatives in quality improvement and engage in research and scholarly activities.
  • Prior teaching and administrative experience is highly valued.
Qualifications for Candidates:
  • Must hold board certification from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Possess an active Kentucky medical license or be eligible to obtain one before starting.
  • Have at least three years of documented educational and/or administrative experience as a faculty member in an ACGME-accredited OB-GYN residency program.
  • Willingness to balance administrative, teaching, and clinical duties (the role involves a 50/50 split between administrative and clinical responsibilities).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
