Summary Job Summary Works under the direction of Licensed Healthcare Professionals. May assist with scheduling appointments, data entry, and preparation of vaccines for vaccinations to the community. Skills 1. Highly effective communication skills. 2. Proficiency and ability to type. 3. Knows vaccine requirements for patients. 4. Knowledge in patient flow process, applicable per Clinic. 5. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. 6. Ability to document EMR. Work Experience One year of Medical Assistant experience is preferred. License/Registration/Certification Certified Medical Assistant is required to be obtained within 6 months of being in the position. Current BLS certification is required. Education and Training High school diploma or equivalent is required. Completion of a Medical Assistant course is required.
