Perform moderate and high-complexity laboratory testing across all general laboratory departments
\n - \n
Analyze, interpret, and verify laboratory results accurately and efficiently
\n - \n
Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instrumentation
\n - \n
Perform quality control and quality assurance procedures
\n - \n
Maintain compliance with CAP, CLIA, and hospital policies
\n - \n
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
\n - \n
Participate in the laboratory's varied shift schedule and on-call rotation
\n

Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) License required
\n - \n
Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related scientific field
\n - \n
Previous hospital laboratory experience preferred
\n - \n
Generalist experience in chemistry, hematology, blood bank, coagulation, urinalysis, and microbiology preferred
\n - \n
Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
\n
