Our Acute Care Unit is designed to meet diverse patient needs, allowing nurses to care for a combination of ICU, step-down, and medical-surgical patients based on their acuity levels. Job Summary and Qualifications

The Progressive Care Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Collaborating with medical providers, the RN offers pre-operative and post-operative nursing care while advocating for patients to ensure an exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patient conditions upon admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in status.
  • Carry out procedures or functions as directed by medical providers.
  • Document care provided in the patient medical record promptly and thoroughly.
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
  • Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment relevant to cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
Qualifications:
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 90 days of starting employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
  • Registered Nurse with either a Bachelor’s or Associate Degree.
