Morson Edge is pleased to be supporting a Global Operational Business to find an HR Manager on a permanent basis.Due to the urgency of the role, applications from those looking for interim opportunities with an immediate start are also welcome to provde temporary support.Based in Buxton, this is a strategic role supporting C-Suite stakeholders as well as providing day-to-day hands-on operational support to site employees, with the requirement of some travel to other UK sites as required. This is a site-based role, Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm.Responsibilities Provide a proactive, commercially focused HR service, partnering with leaders to support operational and strategic business objectives.Deliver expert HR advice and guidance across all aspects of the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.Build strong relationships with managers, coaching and challenging them to make effective people decisions.Manage complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and capability matters.Develop positive working relationships with Trade Union representatives and support industrial relations activity, including pay negotiations.Lead organisational change projects, including restructures, reorganisations and redundancy programmes, ensuring legal compliance and effective consultation processes.Support workforce planning, organisational design and succession planning to meet current and future business needs.Lead and support recruitment, onboarding, talent management and early careers initiatives.Identify learning and development needs, working with leaders to create development plans and build management capability.Drive employee engagement, wellbeing, inclusion and diversity initiatives.Analyse HR data and metrics to identify trends, provide insights and support business decision-making.Support the delivery of the annual HR cycle, including performance reviews, employee surveys and continuous improvement initiatives.Collaborate with the wider HR team to promote consistency, share best practice and support HR projects across the business.Requirements Previous experience in a HR Manager or HR Business Partner role within a fast-paced operational or manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.Proven experience managing complex employee relations cases from start to finish.Experience leading organisational change, restructures and consultation processes.Experience working with Trade Unions and managing industrial relations.Strong coaching, influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility at all levels.Commercially minded with the ability to balance business objectives with employee engagement and compliance.Experience supporting recruitment, talent management, succession planning and workforce development.Ability to interpret HR data and use insights to influence business decisions and drive continuous improvement.Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Confident making difficult decisions, challenging constructively and driving positive change.CIPD Level 5 or Level 7 qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.Benefits include but are not limited to:Company car or car allowanceBonus of up to 15%25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to buy more days, and an increase in allowance with length of serviceCompetitive pension, up to 8% employer contributionPrivate medical insuranceTPBN1_UKTJ
