Built around a strong entrepreneurial mindset and ambitious growth plans, the business combines investment, refurbishment and operational delivery within a fast-paced environment.They are now seeking a detail-oriented and commercially aware Bookkeeper to support the day-to-day finance operation across a growing portfolio of property entities and projects.This is a hands-on role offering broad exposure across bookkeeping, project cost tracking, cashflow reporting and property finance, with genuine opportunity to grow alongside the business.Bookkeeper, the role:Maintaining accurate financial records across multiple entities and SPVsProcessing purchase invoices, sales invoices and credit notesCompleting bank, credit card and intercompany reconciliationsManaging accounts payable and receivable ledgersRecording and tracking rental income across the property portfolioMonitoring refurbishment and renovation costs by projectMaintaining acquisition, disposal and fixed asset recordsPreparing VAT returns and supporting compliance activitySupporting payroll processing and employee expensesAssisting with monthly management accounts and reportingProducing cashflow reports and supporting forecasting activitySupporting the Finance Director with ad hoc reporting and analysisLiaising with external accountants, solicitors and other stakeholdersSupporting process improvements and finance administration across the businessBookkeeper , the person:23 years bookkeeping experience within an SME or owner-managed businessStrong double-entry bookkeeping knowledgeExperience using Xero, Sage or similar accounting systemsStrong Excel / spreadsheet capabilityHigh attention to detail and strong organisational skillsComfortable working within a fast-paced and evolving businessConfident communicator with a proactive approachProperty, construction or real estate sector experience preferredPositive, resilient and commercially minded mindsetDesirable:Experience with SPV or holding company structuresExposure to project costing or refurbishment accountingAAT qualified or studying towards ACCA / CPA IrelandUnderstanding of Irish VAT or property-related finance processesPure Human Resources Limited works in partnership with Building Futures Ltd in providing Recruitment support.
