Operational Cyber Software Engineer (Active DV Required)London (On-site)£60,000 - £85,000 + DV BonusI'm working with a leading organisation at the forefront of National Security that's looking to hire experienced Software Engineers to join its Operational Cyber team in London.This is an opportunity to work on highly classified programmes where you'll develop mission-critical capabilities that directly support the UK's national security. You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team solving complex technical challenges across software engineering, cyber and secure systems development.The RoleDesigning and developing secure software using modern engineering practicesBuilding robust, high-assurance solutions across complex operational environmentsWorking with Agile teams to deliver mission-critical capabilitiesConducting peer reviews and contributing to technical leadership across projectsIdentifying security risks during design and implementation, ensuring secure-by-design principles are embedded throughout developmentExploring new technologies and applying them to challenging cyber problemsWhat They're Looking ForStrong commercial software engineering experienceProficiency in at least one core language such as C++, Java or C#Experience with Python, JavaScript, PowerShell or similar scripting languagesUnderstanding of secure software development and software engineering best practicesExperience with testing, CI/CD and version control toolsAbility to work across Linux and Windows environmentsStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearlyCurrent DV clearance, or eligibility and willingness to undergo DV clearanceThe Package£60,000-£85,000 baseCompany BonusDV bonusPensionMedicalThis is an excellent opportunity for Software Engineers looking to work on genuinely unique technology, tackle highly complex engineering challenges and contribute to projects that have a real impact on UK National Security.
