Job Description

To provide daily repair, preventative maintenance, and asset management of medical devices within various hospital locations whilst ensuring outstanding customer support and building long term relationship. Please note you must be resident in the UK with full right work. Any applications of candidates not based in the UK will sadly be rejected. You also need UK hospital experience to apply for this role.Location: South WestSalary: Dependent on experienceJob Type: Permanent opportunityBenefits: £6K car allowance, pension, death in service, private medical, discounts.As the Biomedical Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) on medical equipment as per manufacturer's guidelinesSupport the site manager / team leader as required and in achieving contractual KPI's.Complete repairs as required on medical equipment as per manufacturer's guidelinesComplete all associated administrative work in completing repairs and preventative maintenance as outlined in Althea procedures.Support customers whenever needed to ensure minimal disruption to the operation of the hospital.Complete associated admin needed to close repairs and PMs as outlined Standard Operating ProceduresTravel to various sites as required to perform Corrective and Preventive MaintenanceMaintain safe working practices within the hospital environmentMaintain spare part stock wherever necessarySchedule and complete workload for customers within assigned areaMaintain service documentation in line with business requirementsMeet with OEM service staff and management when requiredThe successful candidate will have the following related skills / experience:Certified OEM trainingsHNC in Electrical Electronic Engineering or equivalent Qualification in Engineering, electronics, or medical technologies such as biomedical engineering.Excellent Customer Relationship skillsExcellent written and oral communication skills2 -5 Years in healthcare environment with experience on medical equipmentTPBN1_UKTJ
