Pertemps Daventry is recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing client for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their growing maintenance team.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking to secure a long-term position within a busy manufacturing environment. You'll play a key role in keeping production running by maintaining plant machinery, responding to breakdowns, and carrying out planned preventative maintenance.If you're a proactive engineer with strong fault-finding skills and a passion for continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll Be Doing\n

- Responding quickly to machinery breakdowns to minimise production downtime. \n
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs on plant and production equipment. \n
- Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to agreed schedules. \n
- Identifying root causes of recurring faults and recommending continuous improvement solutions. \n
- Performing routine inspections and safety checks across site equipment. \n
- Supporting the installation and maintenance of manufacturing machinery. \n
- Supervising contractors and ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures. \n
- Working closely with production teams to ensure equipment reliability. \n
- Supporting and mentoring colleagues where required. \n
- \n
- A recognised engineering qualification such as an Apprenticeship, BTEC, City & Guilds, or NVQ Level 3. \n
- Previous maintenance engineering experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment. \n
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. \n
- Experience working with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems. \n
- A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills. \n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. \n
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail. \n
- Experience with crane systems would be advantageous but is not essential. \n

- Temporary to permanent opportunity. - Salary - £32,000 - £40,000 PA Denpending on Experience \n
