Personal Injury Solicitor – Leeds
\nI am working with a leading UK legal and insurance services provider to recruit an experienced Personal Injury Solicitor or CILEX-qualified Legal Executive to join its established personal injury team.
\nThis role offers the opportunity to manage a varied and technically interesting caseload of litigated and non-litigated Road Traffic Accident (RTA) claims, with a particular emphasis on cases that have exited the portal and progressed to Fast Track and lower-value Multi-Track.
\nThe Role
\nYou will be responsible for running a caseload that often includes complex features such as overlapping injuries, significant pre-existing conditions, stayed proceedings and challenging client circumstances. A key focus of the role is progressing claims efficiently from the portal into Fast Track and/or Multi-Track, while maximising both damages and recoverable costs.
\nYou will work closely with insurers and individual clients, delivering high standards of service and achieving commercially strong outcomes.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Manage a caseload of litigated and non-litigated personal injury claims from inception to conclusion \n
- Maintain proactive, regular communication with clients and insurer partners \n
- Build strong relationships through calls and meetings to ensure consistent service delivery \n
- Verify the validity of claims, including engagement on sensitive or complex files \n
- Keep insurers fully informed of claim progress to mitigate exposure and maximise savings \n
- Ensure all heads of loss are identified and revisited throughout the lifecycle of the claim \n
- Obtain documentation and medical evidence promptly and progress claims within agreed timescales \n
- Advise on liability, quantum and contributory negligence issues \n
- Discuss offers with clients and third parties, prioritising telephone communication where appropriate \n
- Manage incoming correspondence efficiently, prioritising urgent matters \n
- Progress portal claims into Fast Track and/or Multi-Track wherever appropriate \n
- Support junior team members with procedural and client-related queries \n
- Work alongside senior colleagues on more contentious matters to broaden technical expertise \n
- Increase exposure to Multi-Track work where applicable as part of ongoing development \n
Experience & Knowledge
\n- \n
- Qualified Solicitor or CILEX with experience handling personal injury Fast Track claims \n
- Strong portal experience, including stayed claims and applications to lift or extend stays \n
- Proven ability to manage complex or technical personal injury matters \n
- Demonstrable track record of running a successful Fast Track and/or Multi-Track caseload \n
- Excellent client care, communication and analytical skills \n
- Sound working knowledge of the CPR and relevant case law and legislation \n
- Experience liaising with medical agencies, investigators, counsel and other external parties \n
- Strong IT skills, including case management systems (e.g. Solcase or similar) and MS Office \n
- Highly organised with excellent time management and a calm, methodical approach \n
