Mechanical Project Manager

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Project Manager (HVAC) on behalf of our client based in Brightlingsea, Essex on a permanent basis.

Roles & Responsibilities

\n
• Manage air conditioning and ventilation installation projects from pre-start through to completion
\n
• Coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials and project programmes
\n
• Attend and lead client and site meetings
\n
• Monitor project costs, variations and support procurement activities
\n
• Manage project quality, commissioning and handover documentation
\n
• Ensure Health & Safety compliance across all live projects
\n
• Support project reporting, forecasting and resource planning
\n
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
\n
• Deliver projects on time, within budget and to the highest standards
\n
• Carry out additional project management duties as required
\n

Additional Responsibilities

\n
• Previous experience managing HVAC installation projects essential
\n
• Experience delivering projects valued between £100k - £1m
\n
• Strong understanding of air conditioning, ventilation and ductwork systems
\n
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications
\n
• Manage direct labour, subcontractors and suppliers effectively
\n
• Ensure projects remain commercially viable and programme deadlines are achieved
\n
• Maintain excellent communication with clients and internal teams
\n

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

\n
• Previous Mechanical Project Management experience within Building Services
\n
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical installations
\n
• Commercial awareness with experience managing project costs and variations
\n
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills
\n
• SMSTS qualification preferred
\n
• CSCS Card preferred
\n
• Full UK Driving Licence essential
\n
• Strong Health & Safety awareness
\n

Working Pattern & Benefits

Hours:

• Monday to Friday
\n

Salary: £45,000 - £70,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
