Management Accountant

A great opportunity for an experienced management accountant to join a supportive team. This role will be a hands on management accounts and transactional finance.

Description

Duties include:

\n
• Maintain and reconcile the company cashbook, ensuring all receipts and payments are accurately recorded.
\n
• Prepare and post labour journals, payroll journals, accruals, and other month-end adjustments.
\n
• Process and review accounting debits and credits, ensuring accurate ledger postings and financial integrity.
\n
• Prepare monthly management accounts.
\n
• Produce monthly profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
\n
• Complete accruals, prepayments, and journal postings.
\n
• Perform detailed variance analysis against budget and forecast.
\n
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
\n
• Produce financial and operational KPI reporting.
\n
• Provide financial analysis and business partnering support to budget holders and senior managers.
\n
• Maintain robust financial controls and governance procedures.
\n

Profile

The successful candidate will:

\n
• Have previous experience working within a transactional and management accountant role/s
\n
• Be a fast learner, able to pick up tasks quickly with minimal guidance
\n
• Have strong attention to detail
\n
• Have strong communication skills
\n

Job Offer

This role is offering:

• Salary between £40,000 to £45,000
