Accountant

As an Accountant in the industrial/manufacturing sector, you'll handle the day-to-day financial tasks that keep everything running smoothly. From preparing reports to managing budgets, your work will ensure the business stays on top of its finances.

Description

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
\n
• Perform variance analysis and explain financial performance.
\n
• Process journals, accruals, prepayments, and other accounting adjustments.
\n
• Reconcile balance sheet and ledger accounts within month-end deadlines.
\n
• Support month-end and year-end close activities.
\n
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls, accounting policies, and internal procedures.
\n
• Investigate financial anomalies and resolve discrepancies.
\n
• Support internal and external audit processes.
\n
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable (P2P), Credit & Collections, and other finance teams.
\n
• Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes and reporting
\n

Profile

\n
• Experience in management accounting or financial accounting.
\n
• Knowledge of month-end reporting processes.
\n
• SAP or other ERP system experience.
\n
• Strong Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
\n
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
\n
• Strong communication skills, including presenting financial information to non-finance stakeholders
