CNC Machinist

Role: CNC OperatorRate: £38.29 per hour (equivalent to £54,500 per annum based on a 37-hour week) + Overtime rates for additional hours and Weekend work if opted in to.Contract: 12 Month contract - Temp-to-Perm also an optionLocation: ErdingtonShifts: Rotational Double Days (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm) with an early finish on a friday.We are currently recruiting skilled CNC Operators, producing high-quality components using advanced CNC machinery. You'll work within a skilled team focused on precision, quality, innovation and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities- Program, set and operate CNC machining centres.- Interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing plans.- Create work-holding setups and select suitable tooling.- Inspect finished components to ensure specification compliance.- Support process improvements and workshop activities.What You'll Need- Apprenticeship OR an NVQ Level 3 in a relevant discipline.- Hurco CNC and offline programming experience is desirable.- Experience of WorkNC CAM is desirable- Experience in CNC milling, programming, setting and operation.- Ability to work from technical and engineering drawings.If interested, please apply with updated CV and someone from the team will be in touch to discuss if suitable.
