About the Firm

Our client is a highly regarded specialist litigation practice with a strong reputation in the defendant and claimant motor sectors. Due to continued growth within their Credit Hire team, they are seeking an experienced Credit Hire Fee Earner to manage their own caseload and play a key role in the team's ongoing success.

The Role

As a Credit Hire Fee Earner, you will manage a varied caseload of pre-litigated and litigated credit hire matters, working closely with clients and insurers to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing your own caseload of credit hire claims from inception through to settlement
\n
• Reviewing liability and quantum issues
\n
• Drafting legal documents, witness statements and schedules of loss
\n
• Negotiating settlements with insurers and third-party representatives
\n
• Conducting file reviews and ensuring compliance with relevant protocols
\n
• Preparing matters for litigation where necessary
\n
• Liaising with clients, insurers, solicitors and other stakeholders
\n
• Achieving individual billing and performance targets
\n

About You

The successful candidate will have:

\n
• Previous experience handling credit hire claims
\n
• Experience as a Credit Hire Fee Earner, Litigation Executive, Paralegal or similar
\n
• A strong understanding of liability, causation and quantum principles
\n
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
\n
• The ability to manage a busy caseload independently
\n
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
\n
• Experience of litigated matters would be advantageous but is not essential
\n
