Financial Controller

Looking for a Financial Controller role where you can make a genuine impact?

We're partnering with a growing, multi-site business to appoint a commercially minded Financial Controller. Reporting to the CFO, you'll lead the finance function, manage and develop a high-performing team, and play a key role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.

This is a broad, hands-on position, offering plenty of variety and the opportunity to influence the wider business. Responsibilities include:

• Leading and developing the finance team.
\n
• Delivering accurate monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
\n
• Managing budgeting, forecasting and cash flow.
\n
• Maintaining robust financial controls and ensuring statutory compliance.
\n
• Partnering with operational leaders to provide commercial insight and support decision-making.
\n
• Driving process improvements and enhancing finance systems.
\n

We're looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with experience in a Financial Controller, Senior Finance Manager or similar leadership role.

You'll also bring:

• Strong technical accounting and reporting knowledge.
\n
• Experience leading and developing finance teams.
\n
• A commercial mindset with excellent stakeholder management skills.
\n
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and business partnering experience.
\n
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with ERP systems.
\n
• Experience within a multi-site or multi-entity environment.
\n
