We're recruiting on behalf of a highly respected professional services organisation for an enthusiastic Receptionist / Business Administrator to become the face of their St Albans office. This is far more than a traditional reception role. You'll be the first point of contact for clients while also supporting a range of business functions including administration, HR, events, learning & development and internal projects. - Welcome clients and visitors with a warm, professional approach \n
- Answer and direct incoming calls \n
- Coordinate meeting room bookings and ensure rooms are presentation-ready \n
- Prepare refreshments for client meetings \n
- Manage incoming and outgoing post, couriers and deliveries \n
- Organise catering and office supplies \n
- Maintain visitor logs and assist with office security procedures \n
- Support the smooth day-to-day running of the office \n

- Diary management and meeting coordination \n
- Prepare business correspondence and documentation \n
- Support client onboarding and compliance administration \n
- Scan, file and maintain confidential documents \n
- Update internal databases and document management systems \n
- Assist with HR administration and Learning & Development activities \n
- Help organise company events, charity initiatives and employee engagement activities \n
- Support business improvement projects and provide administration across multiple departments \n

- Previous experience in reception, administration or customer service \n
- Excellent communication skills \n

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail \n

- Experience within a professional services environment \n
- Experience using document management systems \n
