We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative for a long-term opportunity with a growing business in Basingstoke. This role is initially on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent following a successful period.

Day-to-day of the role:

\n
• Picking and packing customer orders.
\n
• Loading and unloading vehicles.
\n
• Receiving and booking in goods.
\n
• Processing kitting orders.
\n
• Maintaining accurate stock records.
\n
• Assisting with stock control and stock movements.
\n
• Supporting the wider warehouse operation to ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on time.
\n
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping and health & safety standards.
\n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

\n
• Previous warehouse experience is essential.
\n
• Comfortable carrying out manual handling duties.
\n
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
\n
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
\n
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work to deadlines.
\n
• Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
\n
• Desirable:\n
  \n
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  \n
  • Experience within a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment.
  \n
  • Knowledge of quality management systems.
  \n
  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
  \n
  • Valid Reach Truck Licence.
  \n
