Accounts Senior

The Role Working as part of a close-knit team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and delivering a broad range of accountancy, VAT, and tax services. Key responsibilities will include:\n

• Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts for a variety of SME clients
\n
• Preparing personal and corporate tax computations and returns
\n
• Managing VAT compliance, including preparation and review of VAT returns
\n
• Providing day-to-day support and advice to clients on accounting and tax matters
\n
• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients
\n
• Assisting clients with queries and providing proactive advice where appropriate
\n
• Supporting more junior members of the team where required
\n
• Managing your own workload and ensuring deadlines are consistently achieved
\n

About You The ideal candidate will be an experienced practice accountant who enjoys working closely with clients and is looking for a role within a friendly and established environment. You will ideally have:\n

• Strong experience working within an accountancy practice
\n
• Solid knowledge of accounts preparation, VAT, and personal/corporate tax
\n
• Experience managing a portfolio of SME clients
\n
• Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
\n
• Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
\n
• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a small team
\n
