We are a well-established and rapidly growing structural engineering consultancy operating across London, Kent, and Essex. - Undertake structural surveys and inspections of residential, commercial, and industrial projects, including pre-purchase structural appraisals, defect-specific investigations, and condition surveys. \n
- Diagnose structural defects including subsidence, settlement, heave, cracking, wall-tie failure, lintel failure, roof spread, dampness-related deterioration, and movement in masonry, timber, steel and concrete structures. \n
- Carry out load-bearing investigations, and structural adequacy assessments to support alteration and refurbishment proposals. \n
- Specify, commission, and interpret intrusive investigations, material testing, and crack/level monitoring regimes, reviewing monitoring data and drawing sound conclusions. \n
- Produce and review reports and engineering justifications for submission to local authorities, building control bodies, insurers, and mortgage lenders. \n
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, loss adjusters, and planning consultants to deliver integrated advice. \n
- \n
- MEng, BEng (Hons), or BSc (Hons) in Civil/Structural Engineering. \n
- Chartered or Incorporated status with IStructE, (CEng) or demonstrable progress towards professional registration \n
- Full UK driving licence and own car \n
- Experience in structural surveying and building appraisals. \n
- Excellent written and spoken English. Must be confident meeting and presenting findings to clients. \n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with TEDDS, AutoCAD, or structural analysis software – advantageous \n
- Right to work in the United Kingdom \n
