The Financial Controller will oversee the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting and effective management of resources to support the organisation's goals. This role is based in Cambridge and plays a key part in maintaining financial stability within the not-for-profit sector.

- Manage the preparation of financial statements and reports. \n
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes. \n
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards. \n
- Supervise and support the finance team with their daily tasks. \n
- Monitor cash flow and manage financial risks effectively. \n
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and guidance. \n
- Lead the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors. \n
- Maintain and improve financial systems and processes. \n
Profile
\nA successful Financial Controller should have:
\n- \n
- Professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA. \n
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience in financial management. \n
- Proficiency in financial systems and software. \n
- Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills. \n
- Strong leadership and team management abilities. \n
- Clear and effective communication skills. \n
- Understanding of the not for profit sector (SORP, UK GAAP, FRS 102) \n
Job Offer

- Salary from £62,213+ dependent on the level of experience. \n
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. \n
