An exciting opportunity for an experienced Litigation Lawyer or Knowledge Development Lawyer to join a highly regarded UK Litigation & Regulatory Knowledge team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Working closely with senior knowledge leadership, you will play a key role in legal know-how, training, innovation, thought leadership, and the integration of AI across a busy disputes practice.

The Opportunity\n

Reporting to the Head of Knowledge, you will help deliver the strategic knowledge agenda across the Litigation & Regulatory practice. The role combines technical legal expertise, knowledge management, training delivery, legal innovation, and AI-focused initiatives, supporting lawyers and clients across a broad range of contentious and regulatory matters.

You will act as a trusted source of legal knowledge and practical guidance, while helping the business remain at the forefront of developments in litigation, procedural law, and legal technology.

DKey Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Monitor and communicate developments in English litigation, civil procedure, case law, and legal AI.
  • \n
  • Prepare concise updates and analysis on significant court decisions and procedural changes.
  • \n
  • Draft, develop, and maintain guidance, precedents, and knowledge resources for fee earners.
  • \n
  • Support the adoption and responsible use of AI tools within legal practice.
  • \n
  • Help develop AI use cases and integrate technology-driven workflows into disputes processes.
  • \n
  • Ensure lawyers understand and comply with emerging court and regulatory expectations relating to AI.
  • \n
  • Coordinate and deliver technical legal training and development programmes.
  • \n
  • Support junior lawyer training initiatives and skills development.
  • \n
  • Contribute to client-facing knowledge programmes, thought leadership, and business development activity.
  • \n
  • Maintain and enhance standard litigation documents and knowledge materials.
  • \n
  • Respond to technical legal and procedural queries from legal teams.
  • \n
  • Support specialist practice areas including Corporate Crime & Investigations, Sanctions, and Financial Services Disputes & Regulation.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with legal technology, AI, and data management teams to promote best practice and innovation.

Profile

About You\n
    \n
  • Qualified lawyer with 5+ years' post-qualification experience.
  • \n
  • Strong background in English law litigation and civil procedure.
  • \n
  • Previous experience in a Knowledge Development Lawyer, Professional Support Lawyer, or similar knowledge-focused role, or demonstrable experience creating legal know-how and delivering technical training.
  • \n
  • Good understanding of legal innovation, AI, and emerging technologies.
  • \n
  • Excellent technical legal skills supported by strong academic credentials.
  • \n
  • Strong communicator with exceptional stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
  • \n
  • Highly analytical with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • \n
  • Organised and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • \n
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and collaborative in approach.
  • \n
  • Able to work closely with knowledge, legal, and business development teams to develop client-facing products, insights, and training initiatives.
