Tax & Succession Solicitor (2+ PQE) – Edinburgh

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Tax & Succession Lawyer to join a highly regarded Private Client team in Edinburgh.

This role offers the opportunity to advise high-net-worth individuals, families, trustees and business owners on a broad range of tax and succession planning matters. Working alongside experienced specialists across multiple disciplines, you'll enjoy exposure to complex and rewarding work within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Role

You'll advise clients on a variety of tax and succession matters, including:

• Estate and succession planning
\n
• Trusts and asset protection
\n
• Estate administration
\n
• Drafting wills, trusts and related legal documentation
\n
• Advising families and business owners on long-term wealth preservation
\n
• Working closely with colleagues across private client, property and corporate teams to deliver joined-up advice
\n

About You

You'll be a Scottish-qualified Solicitor with 2+ years' PQE in private client, tax or succession planning. Applications are also welcomed from English & Welsh qualified Solicitors with relevant experience.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Strong technical and drafting skills
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted client relationships

• A proactive and commercially minded approach
\n
• A desire to continue developing professionally, with STEP qualification (or a willingness to work towards it) welcomed
