We are currently recruiting for Gateline Assistants to join our team at Cheltenham Station.

This is a customer-focused role where you will be supporting passengers, assisting with ticket checks, and helping to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the station.

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Assisting passengers entering and exiting the station
\n
• Providing excellent customer service and travel information
\n
• Checking and validating tickets where required
\n
• Managing passenger flow during busy periods
\n
• Maintaining a safe and welcoming station environment
\n
• Reporting incidents and issues in line with procedures
\n

What We're Looking For

• Strong communication and customer service skills
\n
• A friendly, approachable, and professional manner
\n
• Reliability and punctuality
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
\n
• Previous customer service experience is advantageous but not essential
\n

About the Contract

This role is offered on a 0-hour contract basis, meaning we cannot guarantee fixed shifts every week. However, we typically have frequent shift availability, making it a great opportunity for someone looking for flexible work.

• Supporting on special projects and rail-related assignments when available
