Job Description
KennethBrian Associates have an exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper to join a well established business based in central Wimbledon.
\nThis role offers the opportunity to work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality bookkeeping support tailored to their individual needs. You will build strong client relationships while developing your technical skills and expertise, playing a key role in supporting clients and contributing to the overall success of the team.
\n\nKey responsibilities of a Bookkeeper will include:

- Carrying out bank reconciliations using accounting software \n
- Using automation software to accurately capture and post invoices \n
- Reconciling sales and purchase ledgers on a regular basis \n
- Keeping accounting software up to date with accurate financial records \n
- Preparing and filing VAT returns for a portfolio of clients \n
- Acting as a point of contact for bookkeeping queries \n
- Attending client premises to undertake on-site bookkeeping \n
- Communicating directly with HMRC when necessary, undertaking general administration tasks \n
About you
\nWe are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
\n- \n
- Minimum of three years’ bookkeeping experience, ideally within an accountancy practice \n
- AAT qualified or qualified by experience \n
- Strong knowledge of Xero and exposure to Sage. \n
- Able to work independently, liaise directly with clients, and collaborate effectively within a team \n
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage workload and meet tight deadlines under pressure \n
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, alongside a passion for delivering excellent client service \n
- Enthusiastic about using software and technology to improve efficiency \n
- Presents themselves professionally in client interactions and demonstrates a positive, motivated, can-do attitude \n
