The Opportunity

A fast-scaling legal business is looking to appoint a Senior Litigation Solicitor to join its growing legal team in Manchester.

This leading UK firm is a trusted legal partner for tens of thousands of clients seeking redress for financial mis-selling. They currently manage more than 150,000 claims, onboarding hundreds more every day.

This is a senior legal appointment for an experienced solicitor who wants more than a traditional private practice caseload. It provides scale, responsibility, commercial exposure, progression, and genuine influence over how litigation work is delivered.

The role offers real responsibility, direct work with senior legal leadership and the opportunity to play an important part in how complex litigation work is assessed, managed and progressed.

The Role

As the Senior Litigation Solicitor you will be responsible for:

• Reviewing and managing complex legal issues from initiation through to resolution
\n
• Conducting detailed legal analysis, case assessment and documentation preparation across high-volume workloads
\n
• Assessing case quality and advising on risk and challenge risk where required
\n
• Maintaining consistent, accurate and timely communication with clients throughout the lifecycle of their claim
\n
• Supporting decision-making and helping maintain high standards across a growing legal operation
\n

About You

In order to be considered for this role, you will ideally have:

• A Solicitor qualification in England and Wales with a current practising certificate
\n
• Proven litigation experience with 5+ years PQE
\n
• Excellent drafting, analysis and legal review skills
\n
• Sound judgement and the confidence to make clear legal decisions
\n
• A strong understanding of SRA obligations and professional standards
\n
• The ability to work in a fast-moving, high-growth legal environment
\n
• Commercial awareness and the confidence to assess risk properly
\n
• A structured, accountable and detail-focused approach
\n

You do not need to come from an identical background. What matters is strong litigation ability, good judgement, professional discipline and the appetite to operate in a senior role with genuine influence.
