This is a strategic role with a key focus on translating innovative concepts into reliable, high-performance electronic products. The position offers a unique opportunity to shape future technologies within a forward-thinking organisation committed to excellence and technological advancement.Responsibilities:Lead the design and development of electronic systems from concept to production, ensuring technical robustness and compliance.Capture schematic designs, undertake PCB layout tasks, and perform circuit simulations to validate performance.Develop and verify digital and analogue circuitry, ensuring functionality and reliability.Utilise microcontrollers and embedded systems to integrate hardware with software components.Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including design reports, validation plans, and production handover materials.Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and customers to refine requirements, troubleshoot issues, and optimise designs.Investigate new technologies, components, and design techniques to enhance product capabilities.Conduct testing, debugging, and verification of prototypes, managing the transition to manufacturing.Essential Skills & Experience:Over 10 years of experience in electronic system design, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout using industry-standard tools.Solid experience in designing both digital and analogue electronics.Hands-on experience with microcontroller-based systems and embedded development.Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and an innovative mindset.Effective communication skills, capable of liaising with clients and internal teams.Capability to create clear technical documentation and reports.Desirable Skills & Experience:Knowledge of high-speed digital design and RF/wireless modules.Experience with power supply design and EMC testing.Familiarity with regulated development processes, such as for medical devices or other safety-critical domains.Experience with FPGAs, CPLDs, or DSPs.Background in certification processes and failure analysis.Call to Action:If you meet the criteria above and are eager to contribute to groundbreaking electronic systems within a thriving environment, please submit your up-to-date CV.
