Quest Employment is currently recruiting for an experienced Closing Room Fitter to join a respected footwear manufacturer based in Northampton a town renowned for its heritage in British shoe manufacturing.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled footwear professional who takes pride in producing high-quality products and has previous experience within a closing room environment.The Role As a Closing Room Fitter, you will play a key role in the final stages of the shoe manufacturing process, ensuring each pair is completed to the highest standard.Your duties will include:Gluing and fitting soles to footwear with precisionCarrying out closing room and finishing operationsInspecting products to ensure exceptional quality standardsWorking from production specifications and quality requirementsHandling leather and footwear components with careSupporting production targets while maintaining accuracyKeeping your work area clean, organised, and safeFollowing all company health and safety proceduresWhat We're Looking For Previous experience as a Closing Room Fitter or in a similar footwear manufacturing roleExperience within a shoe manufacturing environment is essentialExcellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality workmanshipGood manual dexterity and practical skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliable, punctual, and committed to high standardsWhat's in it for you?
