Are you an experienced Buyer with a background in procurement within manufacturing environments? A rapidly growing manufacturing business in Cheshire is looking for a Buyer to support the smooth running of supply chain and purchasing activities. This is a Monday to Friday days role, with an early 12:30pm finish on Fridays. The position offers a salary of up to £45,000 depending on experience.Please APPLY NOW via the job boardThe Role:Raise and manage purchase orders for raw materials, consumables and subcontract servicesSource competitive quotations and negotiate pricing, lead times and supply agreementsBuild and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal departmentsMonitor stock levels and ensure materials are available to support production schedulesTrack supplier performance, deliveries and quality standardsResolve supply chain issues and communicate potential risks to relevant departmentsSupport cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement activitiesMaintain accurate purchasing records and system dataIdeal Candidate:Previous buying or procurement experience within a manufacturing environment.Confident using ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft office packagesUnderstanding of steel, fabrications or engineering materials is advantageousCommercial awareness and attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively across departmentsIf you are interested in this role 'APPLY NOW' via the job boardTPBN1_UKTJ
