Pricing AnalystManchester (M24) | Hybrid Working | Up to £50,000Are you a commercially minded analyst looking for a role where your work directly influences business decisions and growth?We're looking for a Pricing Analyst to join a fast-paced, entrepreneurial business where you'll work closely with senior leadership, take ownership from day one, and play a key role in shaping the future of the pricing function.This is not a traditional corporate analyst position. You'll be joining a lean, ambitious team where initiative, commercial awareness, and problem-solving are valued just as highly as technical skills.The OpportunityAs Pricing Analyst, you'll help drive pricing strategy, identify commercial opportunities, improve reporting and processes, and provide insight that supports business growth. You'll have significant exposure to leadership and the opportunity to make a visible impact across the organisation.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, thrives in a dynamic environment, and wants to progress quickly into a leadership position within pricing.Key Responsibilities:Conduct pricing, conversion, and margin analysisIdentify pricing anomalies, leakage, and commercial opportunitiesDevelop reports, models, and analytical tools to support decision-makingWork with complex and sometimes unstructured data setsBuild and improve reporting processes and data structuresGenerate actionable insights that support commercial growthCollaborate closely with senior stakeholders and leadershipTake ownership of projects and proactively recommend improvementsWhat We're Looking For:Minimum 2-3 years' experience within Pricing, Commercial Analytics, Data Analytics, or a similar analytical roleStrong Excel skillsPractical SQL experienceExposure to Python and willingness to use it regularlyCommercially aware with strong business acumenComfortable working independently and taking ownershipExperience working with imperfect, incomplete, or unstructured dataStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsAmbitious, proactive, and eager to make an impactDesirable Backgrounds:We welcome applications from candidates with experience in:Pricing AnalyticsCommercial AnalyticsRetail or E-commerce AnalyticsAutomotive, Travel, or Logistics PricingScale-up or high-growth businessesBig 4 or Top 10 consulting and analytics teamsBI or Data Analytics roles with strong commercial exposureCareer ProgressionThis role offers a genuine opportunity to develop into a Pricing Manager and, longer term, Pricing Director position.
