EC&I Engineer6-month initial contractOutside IR35 - £46Remote with office visits (Nottingham and Wymondham - Norwich)Immediate startRESPONSIBILITIES:Hands-on EC&I design and delivery work (not project management)Produce and update key deliverables: cable schedules, I/O lists, SLDs, cause & effect, load schedulesDevelop control philosophies and functional design specificationsProven experience with Fire/Gas/Security systemsPerform cable sizing, load analysis, and protection studiesSupport functional safety (LOPA, SIL, IEC 61508 / 61511)Work on PLC systems (Siemens TIA Portal / Allen Bradley)Produce EC&I documentation packs (BOMs, RFQs, schedules, test docs)Use AutoCAD Electrical for schematics, wiring, panel layouts, and P&IDsSupport panel design, build, wiring, FAT and SATWork in hazardous areas (ATEX / COMPEX / NORSOK compliant environments)SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS:5-10 years EC&I design experienceOffshore Energy / Oil & Gas backgroundStrong EC&I design and documentation skillsAutoCAD Electrical for schematics, wiring, panel layouts, and P&IDsPLC knowledge (Siemens S7 / Allen Bradley)Cable sizing, circuit protection, and electrical design knowledgeExperience with hazardous area equipment and systemsAble to work hands-on in a delivery-focused role (not management)DESIRABLE:Experience in offshore or subsea energy projectsExposure to cybersecurity considerations in industrial control systemsExperience with both design office and site/FAT environmentsTPBN1_UKTJ
