Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior (Hybrid Working)

GPN Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a well-established, multi-partner accountancy firm in Central London who are looking to appoint an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA or ACCA part-qualified accountant looking to develop within a supportive and progressive firm, working with an interesting and varied client portfolio across sectors including Prof Services, Property, Construction, Charities & more.

Key Responsibilities:

\n
• Blend of Audit & Accounts (slightly more audit dominant)
\n
• Assist with audits from planning through to completion stages
\n
• Prepare statutory accounts under FRS 102
\n
• Prepare bookkeeping, VAT returns and management accounts where required
\n
• Build strong client relationships and act as a day-to-day point of contact
\n
• Support and mentor junior team members
\n
• Work closely with Managers and Partners across a broad client base
\n

About You:

\n
• ACA or ACCA part-qualified
\n
• Current UK accountancy practice experience
\n
• Audit experience is essential
\n
• Exposure to statutory accounts preparation under UK GAAP / FRS 102
\n
• Experience using software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks and Excel
\n
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
\n
• Keen to continue developing within a supportive and ambitious firm
\n
