The Role\n

Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will take ownership of management reporting and financial analysis while acting as a key business partner across multiple departments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts.
  • \n
  • Producing and analysing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring robust financial controls.
  • \n
  • Preparing board-level reporting and performance analysis.
  • \n
  • Partnering with operational teams and senior stakeholders across the business.
  • \n
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • \n
  • Managing and developing a small finance team.
  • \n
  • Reviewing accounting work and ensuring accuracy across financial reporting.
  • \n
  • Authorising payments and overseeing key financial transactions.
  • \n
  • Preparing and reviewing client invoicing processes.
  • \n
  • Providing insight and analysis on business performance, profitability, and expenditure.
  • \n
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives, including systems and process enhancements.
  • \n
  • Contributing to wider finance projects and strategic business initiatives.
  • \n
  • Delivering ad-hoc analysis to support commercial and operational decision-making.
  • \n
About You\n

We're looking for an ambitious and commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, stakeholder-focused environment.

You will ideally have:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (or equivalent).
  • \n
  • Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar role.
  • \n
  • Strong ERP systems experience, ideally Sage X3 or a comparable platform.
  • \n
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • \n
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • \n
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders.
  • \n
  • A proactive approach and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • \n
  • Previous team management or supervisory experience.
  • \n
  • The ability to balance technical accounting responsibilities with commercial insight.
