The Role\nReporting into senior finance leadership, you will take ownership of management reporting and financial analysis while acting as a key business partner across multiple departments.
\nKey responsibilities include:

- Leading the preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts. \n
- Producing and analysing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring robust financial controls. \n
- Preparing board-level reporting and performance analysis. \n
- Partnering with operational teams and senior stakeholders across the business. \n
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. \n
- Managing and developing a small finance team. \n
- Reviewing accounting work and ensuring accuracy across financial reporting. \n
- Authorising payments and overseeing key financial transactions. \n
- Preparing and reviewing client invoicing processes. \n
- Providing insight and analysis on business performance, profitability, and expenditure. \n
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives, including systems and process enhancements. \n
- Contributing to wider finance projects and strategic business initiatives. \n
- Delivering ad-hoc analysis to support commercial and operational decision-making. \n
We're looking for an ambitious and commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, stakeholder-focused environment.
\nYou will ideally have:

- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (or equivalent). \n
- Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar role. \n
- Strong ERP systems experience, ideally Sage X3 or a comparable platform. \n
- Advanced Excel skills. \n
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. \n
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders. \n
- A proactive approach and a continuous improvement mindset. \n
- Previous team management or supervisory experience. \n
- The ability to balance technical accounting responsibilities with commercial insight. \n
