About the Role
\nWe are currently recruiting for a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Receptionist to support the day-to-day operations of a busy community hub in South London.
\nAs the first point of contact for visitors, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment while ensuring the smooth running of reception and administrative functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Welcome visitors and provide a professional front-of-house service. \n
- Respond to enquiries in person, by telephone, and via email. \n
- Manage room bookings and support community activities and events. \n
- Process payments and maintain accurate records where required. \n
- Provide general administrative support to the centre team. \n
- Ensure facilities are prepared for room hire bookings and programmed activities. \n
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an excellent customer experience. \n
- Report any health and safety concerns or building issues promptly. \n
- Support the smooth operation of the community hub during evenings and weekends as required \n
Essential Requirements

- Previous experience in a reception, customer service, or administrative role. \n
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. \n
- Good organisational and time management skills. \n
- Professional and welcoming manner. \n
- Ability to handle enquiries efficiently and professionally. \n
Desirable
\n- \n
- Experience working within a community hub, leisure, health, or public-facing environment. \n
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures within a public building setting. \n
