Finance Assistant

Job Title: Finance AssistantLocation: Killinghall, HarrogateSalary: £28,000 - £40,000 per annum depending on experienceHours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm (flexible start and finish times considered) A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join a successful and established organisation with over 25 years of proven service. This role offers the opportunity to become part of a supportive team, providing assistance across a range of finance activities including accounts administration, reconciliations, payroll support and financial processing.Key Responsibilities of Finance Assistant:\n

• Support day to day finance and accounting activities.
\n
• Assist with bookkeeping, reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.
\n
• Process invoices and support purchase and sales ledger activities.
\n
• Assist with payroll administration and related finance tasks.
\n
• Use accounting systems including Xero and Sage to maintain financial information.
\n
• Produce reports and support finance administration using Excel.
\n
• Maintain organised records and ensure accuracy across financial processes.
\n
• Provide general support to the wider finance team as required.
\n

Experience Required:\n

\n
• Part AAT qualified or working towards completion.
\n
• Previous experience within a finance or accounts role.
\n
• Experience using Xero, Sage, Excel and payroll systems.
\n
• Strong understanding of accounting processes and financial administration.
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately to deadlines.
\n
• Good organisational skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
\n
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to own transport
\n
