Maintenance Electrician

Our client is looking for a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join their team on a prestigious commercial site in Birmingham This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established building services provider with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality maintenance solutions across London's commercial sector.

Maintenance Electrician Duties:

\n
• Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
\n
• Maintenance of single and three-phase power systems
\n
• Motors, pumps, emergency lighting and fire alarm testing
\n
• Basic BMS operation and monitoring
\n
• Safe isolation of plant and equipment
\n
• Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults
\n
• Ensuring all works are completed in line with current regulations and site procedures
\n
• Completing logbooks, RAMS and maintenance records
\n
• Raising and closing work orders via PDA systems
\n
• Supporting general building services maintenance where required
\n

Maintenance Electrician Requirements:

\n
• Fully qualified Electrician (City & Guilds, NVQ, EAL or equivalent)
\n
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
\n
• Minimum 3 years' experience within commercial building services maintenance
\n
• Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience
\n
• Professional and client-facing approach
\n
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
\n
• Located within a commutable distance of the City of London
\n

Maintenance Electrician Salary & Benefits:

• £42,500 per annum
\n
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
\n
• Call out rota of 1 in 3
\n
